Chengdu Specialty Hotel - Tibet Hotel My first trip to Chengdu, I booked the Tibet Hotel, which is conveniently located close to Line 1 of the subway, making travel easy. There's a Wanda Plaza nearby, offering shopping, dining, and entertainment options. The hotel truly lives up to its five-star rating, with grand decor that reflects Tibetan culture and style. Everywhere you look, there's something delightful to see, from beautiful Thangka paintings to exquisite art pieces and furniture. The service is excellent, giving guests a feeling of coming home, and you can even experience making Tibetan incense and trying on Tibetan clothing. The breakfast is incredibly good value, with a wide variety, including freshly squeezed juices made on the spot. There are also Tibetan breakfast items: butter tea, durian pastry, tsampa, Tibetan eggs, etc. The service is thoughtful, with tea and other beverages served directly to the table. The Jiala Academy on the second floor is also a palace of art, where you can relax with friends over tea and books. The service is superb; when I suddenly fell ill, the hotel staff quickly assisted with arranging a hospital visit and accompanied me. This kind of prompt and orderly response to emergencies, with effective coordination, is truly beyond what an ordinary hotel can offer. I am especially grateful, as it made me feel not alone in a strange place, and the staff were like family.
