Self-driving back to Beijing, passing through Tongguan Fengling Ferry, staying in Changzhi, visiting Shangdangmen Chenghuang Temple

On the fifth day of the year, I set off on the road to self-driving back to Beijing. Departing from Xi'an, passing through Tongguan, Fengling Ferry, 5 hours to Changzhi, Shanxi. Stay in Changzhi at night. Changzhi was known as Shangdang, Luzhou in ancient times. Many major battles took place in history. The famous Battle of Changping was triggered by the dispute between Qin and Zhao over Shangdang. The next morning, I went to the city's scenic spot, Shangdangmen. Shangdangmen was the gate of the Sui Shangdang County Office. When Tang Xuanzong Li Longji was the deputy governor of Luzhou, he carried out a lot of construction work in the yamen, and at its peak, there were more than 280 pavilions and palaces. Unfortunately, it was later destroyed by war. The existing Shangdangmen and the bell and drum towers on both sides were repaired in the Ming Dynasty. The Luzhou Prefecture Chenghuang Temple, 1.5 kilometers away from Shangdangmen, is one of the larger and better preserved ancient architectural complexes among the existing Chenghuang Temples in the country. It was built in the Yuan Dynasty. However, in Shanxi where there are many ancient buildings before the Ming Dynasty, the Yuan and Ming halls here are also very common.
