Moat Cherry Blossoms

The cherry blossoms along the Changshu moat generally reach their peak bloom from late March to early April. Clusters of cherry blossoms set against small bridges, flowing water, white walls with black tiles, and ancient city towers create a picturesque scene. It is one of the must-visit 'ritualistic' cherry blossom viewing spots for many Changshu residents in spring. On March 25, 2024, the Moat Cherry Blossom Festival will open, offering not only the chance to appreciate the cherry blossoms but also a variety of exciting activities such as quiz games with prizes, Hanfu performances, and traditional Chinese makeup sessions.
