Family Trip to Changsha

D1⃣️IFS → Orange Isle We took the high-speed train 🚅 to Changsha South. Upon arrival, the little princess 👸🏻 said she was sleepy 💤, so we immediately changed our transportation and took a taxi 🚖 to the hotel (cost 36💰). After checking in [the hotel 🏨 is located opposite the International Finance Center, very convenient for coming and going, and the checkout time is 1 PM. Because the child was sleepy 💤, the hotel 🏨 kindly allowed early check-in. The room I booked has a bathtub 🛁], we went out to find something to eat. The hotel staff recommended Fei Da Chu, so we tried it nearby [the taste was okay, mostly spicy. If you have kids, be sure to check if the dishes are spicy. I ordered tofu without checking the spice level, so the little princess 👸🏻 couldn’t eat it]. After eating, we returned to the hotel 🏨 to rest [because the afternoon weather was like a furnace, we had to wait until evening 🌆]. Around 4:30 PM, we went to the 7th floor of the International Finance Center to take photos with the little figurines [oh!! The sun was still very strong then]. After that, we went to Orange Isle [if you only want to check in at the Mao Zedong statue 🗿, it’s recommended to go to the Chà Tóngxué Shàonián Square on the opposite side of the river to avoid crowds. Now, to get to the Mao Zedong statue 🗿, you have to walk along the riverbank, which is a much longer route]. After checking in at Orange Isle, we took the small train 🚞 and it started raining heavily 🌧️, luckily we walked fast. By the time we returned from the Mao Zedong statue 🗿, it was already 7 PM, so we hurried to find food [we ate at Green Grassland, maybe because we were too hungry, we got full quickly without eating much]. D2⃣️Geological Museum → Chà Tóngxué Shàonián Square It was raining in Changsha, so we slept in at the hotel 🏨 until we woke up naturally [the hotel 🏨 provides breakfast 🥐 until 10:30 AM]. After a full breakfast, we headed to the Geological Museum to see the dinosaur 🦖 that the little princess 👸🏻 had been looking forward to. Before leaving, we bought a cultural creative ice cream 🍦 [tasted good, the little princess 👸🏻 liked it very much]. The sun 🌞 came out, so we took the little princess 👸🏻 back to the hotel 🏨 to enjoy the afternoon tea ☕🍰 provided by the hotel 🏨. After changing into a fresh dress, we went to have dinner, then to Chà Tóngxué Shàonián Square to see Mao Zedong at night and take the sightseeing double-decker bus. [In summer, the lights may turn on late, so it’s recommended to take the bus 🚌 first and then wait. If you take the bus 🚌 during the day, you can buy a one-day ticket for 18 yuan, get off at the check-in stops. For night rides, a single ticket for 6 yuan is recommended because it just circles along Xiangjiang Middle Road. At night 🌃, it’s highly recommended to get off at Du Fu Jiang Pavilion 🚗 for check-in.] D3⃣️Take the high-speed train 🚅 home After waking up, we went to the International Finance Center to check in at the rainbow 🌈 wall, wandered around the area, had lunch, then returned to the hotel 🏨 to pack 🧹🧳 and check out.
