Multiple stays have consistently been good, maintaining the high standards of Grand Hyatt. 2️⃣As a tourist city, Changsha has many high-end hotels. Marriott properties are either concentrated in Meixi Lake in the west or in Tianxin in the south. In terms of location, transportation convenience, and tourist experience, they are not as good as the Hyatt properties (Grand Hyatt + Park Hyatt), because these two hotels occupy the prime locations of Wuyi Square/Huangxing Road/Jiefang West, which are the most popular and busiest core commercial areas. 3️⃣The service is excellent. I've repeatedly experienced the benefits of the World of Hyatt membership program, which typically provides member value-added perks. This time at Grand Hyatt Changsha, I was upgraded to a river view room on the 56th floor with an area of 50 square meters, and they arranged early check-in at 10 AM according to my request. 4️⃣The hardware is also great. I love the 90-degree movable round desk in the room, which is very practical and can be adjusted according to the weather/lighting/where you want to sit. I like the bathroom curtain controls, allowing you to enjoy the river view while taking a bath. I appreciate the full set of Balmain toiletries, Dyson hair dryer, JBL Bluetooth speaker, bedside table with ready-to-use Type-C + USB charging cables, and the incredibly comfortable bathrobes. Summary: Everything I need is right there and working as intended. 5️⃣Magnificent river views from the 56th floor overlooking the Xiangjiang River, Orange Island, Du Fu River Pavilion, and Yuelu Mountain - a panoramic vista. Lying on the sofa by the floor-to-ceiling windows, watching boats move on the river and ripples on the water is extremely relaxing. As the sunlight changes, the scenery in the morning/afternoon/evening also changes dynamically. After nightfall, the light shows on both sides of the Xiangjiang River are dazzling, presenting a metropolitan spectacle. This river view adds significant value to the experience. When Changsha has fireworks displays, this river view room faces them directly. 6️⃣The location is excellent and flawless, situated in Changsha's most central, bustling area with the best food, entertainment, and nightlife. Downstairs you'll find "Wenheyou" and multiple "Chayan Yuese" tea shops and "Gongxin Xincun Rice Noodle Shop." The subway station, Jiefang West Road (vibrant nightlife), Pozi Street (various cuisines), Huangxing Road + IFS + Wuyi Square (lively eating, drinking, entertainment, and shopping) are all within walking distance. Additionally, there's a long Xiangjiang River greenway for strolling, walking, relaxing, enjoying the scenery, and feeling the breeze.
