Visit Sichuan Province - Qidonggou Scenic Area, Changning County

Qidonggou 1. Address Located in Xingfu Village, Guhua Town, Changning County, Yibin City, Sichuan Province. You can take a bus from Yibin City, Changning County, or Jiang'an County. 2. Visit 1. The three of us took a bus from Jiang'an County, and it took about an hour and a half to get there. 2. This place was formerly known as Hutiaoyan and Feiquan Gorge. It is a national 4A-level tourist attraction, a national key cultural relic protection unit, a national forest health care base, and a provincial film and television shooting base. 3. The scenic area is located in Changning County, which is known as the hometown of longevity, one of the top ten eco-health tourism counties in China, and one of the most beautiful counties in China in 2019. It is only 12 km from Changning Station on the Chengdu-Guiyang High-speed Railway. It is a typical Danxia canyon landform with a forest coverage rate of 96%. The tree fern community is large, and the negative oxygen ion content per cubic centimeter is as high as 47,000, ranking first in Sichuan. The summer temperature is nearly 10 degrees lower than that of Yibin City, making it a famous summer resort and natural oxygen bar. 4. We mainly visited the following attractions: First, the seven cave cliff tombs. This tomb group is located on the red sandstone cliff on the east bank of the Mianxi River and was excavated in the Eastern Han Dynasty about 2,000 years ago. In the past, locals called the seven caves "barbarian caves" and believed that they were the residences of barbarians in ancient times. Later, archaeologists identified them as cliff tombs from the Eastern Han Dynasty. The characteristic of cliff tombs is that the tomb chamber is excavated on the cliff. The tomb chamber is halfway up the mountain, and you can see the general situation from the foot of the mountain. Second, we visited the 9D Yunhai Glass Bridge, which spans the canyon between the Nanping Mountain Range and the Folaishan Mountain Range. It is 386 meters long, 3.3 meters wide, and has a vertical drop of 188 meters, ranking first in length, width, and height in southwest China. Third, we visited Feiquan Temple. It is located at the foot of the mountain on the east side of the valley in Qidonggou Scenic Area. It was built in the Eastern Han Dynasty and is one of the earliest temples in China. Feiquan Temple is named after a clear spring flowing down from the mountain behind the temple. Due to the rain, we only watched it from the outside. 5. We mainly visited these three scenic spots, and there are many other attractions. The scenic area is equipped with Qidonggou Hotel, which can meet the needs of dining, accommodation, chess, meetings, and other functions.
