Aranya

Aranya is located on the east side of the coastal highway in the central area of the Golden Coast, Changli County, Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province. It is a real estate brand established in 2013, with a total area of 4.3 million square meters. It is a summer seaside resort in the north, and the Golden Coast is known as one of the "Eight Most Beautiful Coasts in China." It consists of different types of residential areas, public buildings, and various supporting facilities, with a 2.5 km coastline, coastal wetlands, and locust forests, and a superior natural environment. • Lonely Library: Opened on April 23, 2015, designed by Dong Gong, the main body is a two-story reading room, with seats in a stepped shape, and a large floor-to-ceiling window facing the sea. It is a reading space for community residents and tourists and a place for cultural and artistic activities. • Aranya Chapel: Designed by Dong Gong, it is 300 meters away from the Lonely Library. The whole building is white, and the interior is slightly dark and deep due to the intersection of natural light, which is suitable for meditation and thinking. It is also a place for community concerts, art exhibitions, and other activities. • Aranya Art Center: Designed by the couple of Xi En and Hu Rushan, with a total construction area of about 1,500 square meters, the whole building is black and white, made of heavy concrete, with staggered spaces inside, and visitors can explore different gallery spaces through spiral paths. • UCCA Dune Art Museum: Designed by OPEN Architecture, it is the first branch of UCCA Ullens Center for Contemporary Art, with a cave-style design, 7 indoor exhibition halls, and 3 outdoor exhibition halls, which can maximize the beauty of the sand and sea. • Aranya Theater: Composed of Aranya Hive Theater, Aranya A Theater, and Aranya Seaside Theater, the three theaters have different styles and are connected to each other, forming the Aranya Seaside Theater Group. • Food: At the seaside market, you can taste local seafood such as steamed prawns and garlic scallops; at the Fisherman's Wharf, there are grilled fish, seafood platters, and other delicacies; at the seaside bar, you can enjoy cocktails, seafood barbecues, and more. • Accommodation: There are luxury hotels such as EOSO Yun Song Hotel and Aranya Sukha Hotel, as well as various choices such as homestays near the Art Center and inns near the Fisherman's Wharf.
