"Mae Kha Canal" new look, brighter and more beautiful than before

#Chiangmai in the rainy season, the Mae Kha Canal has been renovated to be more beautiful and fresh than before. Take a leisurely walk in the cool breeze with the clean water in the canal, with an atmosphere like being in another country. At the Maekha Canal area from Rakang Road to the back of Wat Hua Fai, a distance of 750 meters, Chang Klan Subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai Province, it is a collaboration between the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai Municipality, and the communities living along the Mae Kha Canal, working together to restore the canal that was in a polluted state to be as beautiful as it was in the past. Mae Kha Canal is an ancient canal in Chiang Mai Province. It is one of the locations where King Mangrai chose to build Chiang Mai over 700 years ago. Originally, the Mae Kha Canal served as the outer moat surrounding the city and as a drain to overflow into the Ping River. However, due to the expansion of the urban community over the past three decades, the water in the canal has become very polluted.
