Ancient temple more than 200 years old

Then about 500 villagers tried to drag it to shore but were unsuccessful. The ropes that tied the Buddha images broke and the three Buddha images sank into the water. The villagers believed that the reason the three Buddha images came upstream in this area was “Sam Phra Tuan”, which later changed to “Sampathuan”. Therefore, the name of the village and the temple eventually became “Sampathuan”. In addition, it is also the temple where Phraya Tak led his army to conquer Chanthaburi. He passed through this temple and renovated it before marching on to Chanthaburi. It is considered a very important temple in Chachoengsao.
