Mrigadayavan Palace is located in Cha-am District, Phetchaburi Province. It was the summer residence of King Rama VI. It was built in 1923. Mrigadayavan Palace is a summer palace that King Rama VI ordered to be built as a place for the king to stay, relax and heal himself. It was also the summer residence of King Rama VI. In 1941, Chao Phraya Ramrakhop built a statue of King Rama VI as a royal memorial and placed it in the audience hall of Mrigadayavan Palace. A royal merit-making ceremony was held to pay homage on the anniversary of his death on November 25 every year.
