Central's Popular High-Quality Tea Restaurant

📍Silver Sprout 🔎 G/F, The L. Place, 139 Queen's Road Central, Central ----- Discovered this newly opened tea restaurant in Central with a rather elegant decor, so I decided to have lunch here over the weekend. The menu offers a wide variety of choices, and while the prices are slightly higher than typical tea restaurants, the comfort of the environment is definitely a step above. 🍽️ Italian Tomato Iberico Pork Macaroni Served with creamy scrambled eggs, smoked cheese sausage, toast, and iced Yin-Yang (coffee & tea mix) The Iberico pork slices are rich in flavor, with a good balance of fat and lean meat, and the portion is generous. The soup base is smooth and potato-like, with a strong tomato taste. The scrambled eggs have a rich buttery flavor, while the sausage lacks a smoky taste but is quite juicy. 🍽️ Poached Chicken with Chicken Oil Rice Served with peppery winter melon soup and hot Hong Kong-style milk tea I added $10 for the chicken thigh cut, which was incredibly tender. The chicken skin and meat retained a layer of broth jelly in between, and the chicken oil rice was dry yet fragrant with a hint of oil, leaving little to criticize. The peppery winter melon soup, however, was unimpressive, but as a side dish, it didn't affect the overall experience much.
