Cebu: Whisper of history, solemnity of faith

When I stepped onto the ancient land of Cebu, I felt a solemn awe in my heart. A short walk away is Magellan's Cross, a witness standing at the turning point of history. Finally, I came to Fort San Pedro, where the ancient stone walls silently told the vicissitudes of the Spanish colonial era.
