⛰️🏔Castle Hill, or “Kura Tāwhiti” in Maori, is a tourist attraction located in the Canterbury region of New Zealand’s South Island. It is an area of ​​large limestone rocks carved by nature into strange shapes, scattered across the hillside like an ancient castle created by nature. ✨️With its vast mountain scenery and artistic rock formations, Castle Hill has been nicknamed the “Spiritual Center of the Universe.” It has also been the location for many famous movies, such as The Chronicles of Narnia, and is ideal for travelers who enjoy outdoor activities, such as light hiking, rock climbing, nature walks, and photography. Tourists can travel by car from Christchurch in just about 1.5 hours via Arthur’s Pass, one of the most scenic routes in the country. ✨️The recommended time is from spring to autumn (September–April), but we went in November and encountered light rain that fell on and off, but after we finished our visit, it rained heavily. What we like about Castle Hill is probably the peacefulness.
