One month free travel in Italy - Day 10: Beautiful covid-free island - Capri

There are two famous attractions in Naples, namely the Amalfi Coast and Capri Island. Due to limited time, we only visited Capri Island this time. We first went to the ferry terminal in Naples to take the ferry to Capri Pier, and then took the mountain cable car to Capri city (when queuing for the cable car, you can see a big poster saying that Capri Island is covid-free 🤣) Although you must visit the Blue Grotto when you come to Capri, unfortunately the weather was unstable that day, so this trip was cancelled (*The Blue Grotto can only be seen by refraction of sunlight, so the chance of seeing it is lower on cloudy or rainy days) The main color of most buildings in Capri is white mixed with a candy color, which has a gentle tone. The small shops near the cable car station sell souvenirs, mostly local specialties such as lemon wine and lemon candy, as well as various special snacks such as fried spaghetti balls and pizza. In addition, there are many convertibles waiting at the cable car station for tourists coming up from the foot of the mountain to take them to a higher point on the island - Anacapri. The price of taking the open-top car is 20 euros, but we think it is worth it to enjoy the sea breeze and the scenery along the way (but if you don’t want to take it, there are public buses going back and forth between Anacapri and the cable car station~) We visited Anacapri's shops, which mainly sold clothes, accessories, and authentic ingredients. Afterwards we took a cable car to the highest peak of the entire island, the round trip price was 12 euros. Although it was drizzling that day, the beautiful sunset could be vaguely seen through the clouds, which was indeed another kind of beauty! Being able to see the whole Capri in the drizzle is a very romantic moment for couples🤍 *When visiting Capri, please pay attention to your schedule. We set out at noon that day, and the cable car and cable car closed earlier (5pm and 7pm respectively), so we stayed in Capri for a shorter time. -to be continued- 🍽️Today’s dinner —— Pizzeria Pellone 🗣️The pizza shop was recommended by the owner. We ordered three classic pizzas and one fried pizza. The base was indeed very soft, but some of the fillings were not quite to our taste.
