The little towns, like Göreme, had a cozy charm with stone houses, cave hotels and friendly locals. I loved popping into small cafes for tea and enjoying the relaxed pace. Historical sites like the rock cut churches in the Göreme Open Air Museum added a fascinating glimpse into the region’s past. Even without a hot air balloon ride, there is so much to enjoy on foot or by exploring the trails. The views are simply breathtaking from almost anywhere you stand. Cappadocia in Nevşehir Province is a place that blends natural wonder, history and charm so beautifully that it stays with you long after you leave.
