Maulbronn Monastery Complex

Getting There - Bus Attractions - Wold heritage Food & Restaurants - third picture I visited Maulbronn Monastery, famous for its UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hans spent his youth in the seminary annexed to the monastery in Unterm Rad by Hermann Hesse. Unterm Rad forms my philosophy, and I'm a fan of Hesse, so this is where I wanted to go. I always remember the "Sound of Maulbronn"; the footsteps reverberate around the stone building, the wind rushing across the meadow, and water running swiftly. The transitional style moved me from Romanesque to Gothic and mural painting.
