Cairns Day 3: 4 nights, 5 days plan

On Day 3, we went to Fitzroy Island. 🏝️ Part of the Great Barrier Reef, it's about a 45-minute ferry ride from Cairns. 🪸 Enjoy snorkeling, kayaking, and glass-bottom boat rides in the crystal-clear waters. 🚣 Summer is hot and humid, so the best time to visit is during the dry season, from May to October. There are walking trails on the island, and the views from the observation deck are spectacular! Food orders are accepted at the restaurant from noon onwards, and only the cafe was open in the morning. If you're planning on having breakfast on the island, it's a good idea to get takeout from the city. ^_^ Blu Marin Bistro, located right across from the ferry terminal, sells light snacks like muffins and cookies for takeaway. 🍪 There were also lockers on the island! While a day trip is possible, if you'd prefer a longer stay, we recommend staying at one of the resorts on the island. ⛱️ The ferry ride can be quite cold, so you'll need to bring a jacket, but it's still comfortable. ^_^ #SummerCampaign
