Devil's Bridge

To leave the town of Cahors (꺄오흐), you must cross the Pont Valentre, a three-towered bridge built in the 14th century. According to legend, a worker tried to sell his soul to the devil to finish the bridge, but when the work was over, he did not give his soul to the devil, so the devil took revenge and did not let him finish the work. It is also called the 'Devil's Bridge' because the devil removed stones from the last tower every night to prevent it from being completed.
