[Dongrae-gu Restaurant] Hotel Nongshim Korean Restaurant ‘Naedang’🍽 I had lunch at Hotel Nongshim’s Korean restaurant, Naedang, which boasts a long history! Hotel Nongshim is said to be the oldest accommodation facility south of the Han River, having opened in 1960 and was acquired by Nongshim in the 80s after the Dongrae Tourist Hotel opened! I often visited this place for family meals, so it was interesting to learn about its history for the first time. Naedang offers a variety of course meals with Korean names such as orchid, soup, porridge, and mugunghwa. I tried one of the courses, soup or porridge, a long time ago and I remember being very satisfied. I think the course menu has changed a lot since then because a lot of time has passed. This time, I tried the lunch special instead of the course, and the plating was neat and pretty, and I liked that I could taste a variety of dishes because there were many kinds of food. However, the food was generally not warm and was rather cold. I don't know if it was cold or if they originally served it cold, but it was a little disappointing because it didn't taste as good as I had remembered. However, on such a nice day, I was able to spend time in such a beautiful place with such a long history, and that alone made me happy and joyful!
