I visited the National Museum of Forced Labor under Japanese Occupation, located in Nam-gu, Busan. This space is designed as an educational space to uncover the truth about forced labor during the Japanese colonial period, remember the pain of those who perished, and reflect on the importance of human rights and peace. Built on a spacious site with three floors above ground and four floors underground, the museum systematically displays memoirs, photographs, and artifacts of forced labor, vividly conveying the harsh reality of forced labor. The immersive content featuring Kim Gu, the late Kim Gu, using holograms and AI technology, was particularly impressive, creating an immersive experience that felt like time travel back in time. Free admission and ample parking make the museum easily accessible. Open daily from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, except Mondays and national holidays, it's convenient for scheduling.
