Busan is rich in culture.

If you ask me what left the deepest impression on me when I visited Busan, it would undoubtedly be the cultural villages. Busan boasts numerous cultural villages, all easily accessible via public transportation. Each village has its own unique charm, but they all share a vibrant and colorful aesthetic. The best part is that there are no entrance fees, and you can even collect stamps for free. However, souvenirs here don't have fixed prices, so it's a good idea to explore and compare before making a purchase. Since these villages are located on hills, be prepared for a lot of walking—wear comfortable clothes and pack light. Despite the effort, the experience is absolutely worth it. My top three recommendations are Gamcheon Cultural Village, Huinnyeoul Village by the sea, and Dakbatgol Village, famous for its pastel-colored stairs. While food in these areas tends to be pricier, the difference isn't too significant. That said, I found the taste to be somewhat underwhelming, so I suggest sticking to snacks and trying other local specialties.
