Busan｜Yuewol Road Blossoms 30-50% Pink Romantic Walking Path.

Three days ago, when I visited, the flowers on Yuewol Road were still in bud. Unexpectedly, when I revisited over the weekend, they had already bloomed 30-50%. Some trees facing the sea with ample sunlight were in full bloom. Yuewol Road is actually the mountain road between Woniusan and Songjeong. Below is the familiar Blue Line Capsule Train, and above is Yuewol Road. It has always been a favorite walking route for citizens and a popular spot during cherry blossom season since its completion in 2008. There are several sections where you can overlook the sea view of Cheongsapo, and Yuewol Road is known as one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Korea. There is a romantic legend associated with this place. In ancient times, a poor scholar was preparing for the imperial examination. One day, his family's cow went missing, and he found it on Woniusan, where he met a girl picking wild vegetables. They fell in love at first sight. However, the scholar had to prepare for the exam, so they agreed to meet again the following Lantern Festival to admire the full moon together. The scholar passed the exam and met the girl as promised, leading to a happy life together. This legend makes couples love to visit during the full moon, hoping to develop a lifelong relationship. As for the cherry blossoms, early April seems to be the best time to view them.
