Recommended hotels in Busan, South Korea

Ramada Encore by Wyndham Busan Station The hotel is right next to Busan Station, so it's very convenient to take the KTX to Seoul (it's a pain to change hotels in winter when you have a lot of luggage). However, you have to transfer three times to get from Busan Airport to the hotel, as it's in the city center. There's a Starbucks and convenience store downstairs, so breakfast is easy to sort out (the strawberry milk at Starbucks is delicious). ✅ It's only a 2-minute walk to Line 1 of the subway, and it's only 15 minutes to Jagalchi Market. It takes about an hour to get to Haeundae Beach, and you can take the subway or bus. Both are good options. I don't recommend going to Gamcheon Culture Village, as it's just a refugee camp with colorful houses. ✅ There are lots of food options. There are lots of pork soup rice, barbecue, and fried chicken restaurants within a 5-minute walk of the hotel, and there are even more coffee shops. There are also lots of Taiwanese guests at the hotel, so you'll feel right at home. ✅ Busan locals are very friendly and willing to help. There are lots of signs in Chinese, so you can get by even if you don't speak English or Korean.
