See the crater of the volcano... climb the stairs to Khao Kradong.

The weather in February was expected to be cold, but it was actually very hot, especially during the day. In Buriram, the sun was so hot that it was black as a stubble. We stopped by an Amazon coffee shop and took a songthaew that passed Khao Kradong. We got off at the temple on the way up the mountain, and then we climbed hundreds of steps up to the top of Khao Kradong. Khao Kradong is a forest park with a large Buddha statue on the mountain. This is where you can see Buriram from a high angle. Khao Kradong is an extinct volcano that was extinct for a hundred thousand years. The crater has a pond of water. There is a suspension bridge across the crater, a slide, and a nature trail on the top of the mountain. We climbed the stairs and walked down the road that cars can drive on. When we got down, we almost fainted. The air here is very hot, but after walking until we were sweating, we stopped to rest. "I love Khao Kradong."
