Bremen, Germany

Bremen is the capital of the smallest of Germany's sixteen federal states. It is the second largest port city and the fifth largest industrial city in Germany. Bremen is the second largest city in northern Germany after Hamburg and a major cultural and economic center. The city has dozens of historical galleries and museums, ranging from historical sculptures to major art museums such as the Bremen Overseas Museum, Bremen Town Hall and the Roland Statue, which are listed as World Cultural Heritage. Bremen is famous for the fairy tale "The City Musicians of Bremen" by the Brothers Grimm, and there is a statue in front of the city hall (picture 3).
