The Last Drop of the Atlantic Ocean - Sayram Lake: Unforgettable and Extremely Charming

After a leisurely morning at the Dushanzi self-driving campsite, we drove for about five hours to the legendary last drop of the Atlantic Ocean, Sayram Lake. The entrance fee for self-driving is 145 yuan per person. The viewing point at the entrance was crowded and commercialized, with a bustling atmosphere that made it seem like an ordinary tourist spot. After a simple meal, we drove further in. The lake's unique salmon delicacy costs around 400 yuan per fish. Coming from a land of fish and rice, we didn't feel the need to try the whole fish but did sample the salmon dumplings (which were also not cheap, but that's normal for a tourist area). We immediately drove around Sayram Lake. Upon entering, we saw the lake as blue as the sea, with distant mountains, brilliant sunshine, and a blue sky dotted with white clouds. The water and sky blended into one, creating an incredibly beautiful, breathtaking, and indescribable scene! We stopped at some secluded spots to get close to the lake and take photos. Facing the lake, we were utterly enchanted, constantly wanting to capture every beautiful moment. We picked a quiet spot to sit down, look at the lake, and close our eyes to feel it. We wished we could freeze this moment forever, feeling happy, content, and peaceful! There are campsites along the way. Imagine how beautiful it would be to listen to the lake's song at night! We chose a campsite where horses were running, and galloped on horseback, expressing our passionate love for Sayram Lake! As the sun set, we looked back at Sayram Lake's appearance. A beam of light pierced through the evening clouds and fell on the lakeside, creating a luxurious stage with the sky, mountains, and lake as the backdrop. Truly, every stroke of nature here is a masterpiece, making one feel deeply enchanted and respectful, reluctant to leave! To see it, I also "splurged" on a night at the Xinzhe self-driving campsite at the south gate, costing over 1,000 yuan. The facilities were average, and the comfort level was average, but its value lies in its proximity to Sayram Lake. You can walk around the mountain and grassland trails nearby, still feeling like you're with Sayram Lake! Sayram Lake is another classic destination for our trip to Xinjiang. I will always remember it!
