Tips to organise Eagle Hunting Demonstration!

The best place to see an eagle hunting demonstration is on the southern shores of Issky Kul, specifically Bokonbeyvo. 🦅 What do you get? We got to hold the eagle and let its wings flap. They demonstrated how the eagles hunt with a jackal skin. They also demonstrated their local hunting dogs (Taigan) which is often their partner during hunting season. And finally we got to play some archery the nomadic way! 🎟️ How to organise a demonstration? 1. your guesthouse. Our guesthouse happened to just live opposite of the eagle hunters so we got special treatment and got to sit in a small sedan with them. We paid 4000soms 2. Through CBT Bokonbeyvo 💵Cost? 4000-5000soms per demonstration. You might need to organise a car transfer to take you to the location of the demonstration as well. Each call out for the demonstration is that price, so if you have more people, then obviously the pp cost will be less. 🚌 How to get to Bokonbeyvo Matshruka from Bishkek Western Bus Station. (approx 4-5hours). Cost 400soms pp. Matshruka from Karakol (approx 2 hours). Cost 250soms pp. ⭐️ Recommend? Yes we definitely recommend it! Although it is a very pricey experience compared to everything else in Kyrgyzstan, holding a golden eagle and sitting in a car with one was a one in a life time experience.
