House of rescued animals@ Safari Lagoi Bintan

#bintan We stopped by Safari Lagoi Bintan, a wildlife and safari park which houses rescued and endangered animals, on our way from our hotel to BBT ferry terminal. The residents in the animal sanctuary include orangutan, sun bears, elephants, kodomo dragons, crocodiles, eagles and many more. These animals are mainly rescued from illegal pet trade and judged to be incapable of survival if released back in the wild. As most attractions are located outdoors without shelter so it's better to bring umbrellas and apply lots of sunscreen!
