Close to Yangpu Binhai Cultural Plaza

This is the sixth year I’ve spent the winter in the south-central coast of Baimajing, Danzhou City, Hainan Province. I came to the Cultural Square Library in Yangpu Economic Development Zone to borrow books and check in at Yangpu Coastal Park. Yangpu Coastal Park is located south of Yangpu Binhai Road, close to Xinying Bay. It was completed and opened to the public in 2012 and covers a total area of ​​more than 170 acres. The park is shaded by green trees and has pleasant scenery. It consists of the main entrance square, lighthouse square, landscape avenue square, green-shaded avenue, sea-viewing platform, tree array square, sunken square, sunny lawn activity area and other areas. It is a comprehensive urban park that integrates public greening, culture, entertainment, leisure and tourism, providing citizens with leisure, recreation, sea viewing, gathering and socializing. In addition, Yangpu Coastal Park also serves as an earthquake emergency shelter that can accommodate more than 13,000 people at a time. Once major natural disasters such as earthquakes, fires, explosions, and floods occur, it can be used for emergency evacuation and centralized resettlement.
