Snow season only ~ Icicle Shirahige Falls

Shirahige Falls, located in the Shirogane Onsen Village in Biei, is a waterfall where groundwater seeps out from the cracks in the rocks and flows into the stream. The white water flows down in multiple lines and merges with the blue stream. In addition, the frozen icicles and snow around it during the snow season make it look like a painting. It is really beautiful. Although you can only take photos on the bridge, the waterfall and the azure blue Biei River present a unique blue and white scenery. It is really a must-see attraction in Biei during the snow season.
