Berlin Zoological Garden

I went with my family in dec 2014 to Berlin Zoo and it was an amazing experience specially the aquarium. There is a separate ticket you need to buy to visit the aquarium section and it is indeed worth going to the aquarium section. My kid enjoyed a lot by seeing several types of fishes. Specially the varieties of Jelly Fishes were mind blowing. I think this (the collection of fishes etc) would be the best in Europe, I assume. Even the Giraffe section was very good. It is worth spending 5-6 hrs in this zoo. This zoo is fantastic. I was so impressed by the large enclosures and the effort the zoo has gone to to match the enclosures to the animals' natural habitats in the wild. The zoo is very good value for money and has little photo machines dotted around the zoo so you can create your own postcard to send home or to keep as a souvenir. The petting zoo is a lot of fun! :)
