Maple Viewing in Benxi - Laobiangou Scenic Area

Fall is a colorful season. The most beautiful thing about fall is the maple leaves. When the maple leaves turn red, the mountains are covered in red, and the forests are dyed in layers of red. Nature is the best colorist. The best place to view maple leaves in Northeast China is Benxi. Because of the unforgettable impression left by the red maple trip to Guanmen Mountain in 2021, I decided to visit Laobiangou Scenic Area to see the maple leaves again when I passed by Shenyang this year. Laobiangou Scenic Area is a scenic area featuring natural landscapes such as primeval forests, waterfalls, and streams. It is famous for its high density of maple leaves and beautiful streams. The maple leaves here change from green to yellow, and then from yellow to red. The colorful leaves and the flowing water complement each other, making you feel like you are in a poetic painting. The maple leaves in Laobiangou turn red earlier than those in Guanmen Mountain. There are many kinds of maple leaves, and the colors are bright. Laobiangou was developed later, so it is more primitive.
