Benxi Water Cave in winter

The first time I saw the rime in our Benxi Water Cave, it was very beautiful, refreshing, and felt like a fairyland. But I have to introduce the water cave, let's understand the details of the water cave Benxi Water Cave is located in Xiakemountain, a branch of Changbai Mountain. The mountain is medium and low, with a relative height of only 200-300 meters, undulating and verdant. The Taizi River flows past 200 meters in front of the cave, like a jade belt, clear and winding, and flows into the Liao River to the sea downstream. The cave mouth faces south and north, 13 meters above the surface of the Taizi River, and the cave body extends into the mountain. Benxi Water Cave is a large-scale aquifer-type underground river karst cave formed 400,000 years ago (Middle Pleistocene). The explored cave system consists of the Nine-Curve Milky Way Cave (main cave), Panlong Cave (dry cave), Yinbo Cave (water-filled cave) and the upstream continuation dark cave. The overall direction of Benxi Water Cave is from northwest to southeast. The main channel of the cave is completely spread in the horizontal direction, mostly in the form of hall tunnels, halls and corridors. The temperature in the cave is always above twelve degrees throughout the year, warm in winter and cool in summer. It is a good place to enjoy the scenery in winter and cool down in summer.
