Had the best time at Kebun Rimba Private Estates, lush magnificent surroundings and beautifully ornate traditional houses. Really good for honeymoons, groups and even private events. There were 4 of us, but the Rumah Penghulu we took for 2 nights was so huge it could easily fit another 4 people! So much space to move around, streams and a lake with geese, even. Only but of a trouble was there was not enough decent places nearby to dine at. Breakfast by the estate was tasty and adequate. Friendly staff even called us out to breakfast when we were looking out the windows, just like in the kampungs! It was rainy during the 2 days, they provided mosquito repellent coils but nary a mosquito even when we had the windows opened. The grounds are well kept, except for the big swimming pool which is still a work in progress in some parts. Beautiful setting, nice ambience. We came here on our way to Bentong. There was a long queue when we arrived due to public holiday but there was a proper queue system and we were seated after a short wait. I wasn't expecting much from this cafe but surprisingly almost everything we ordered was good. Definitely will come again ❤️
