The Story of Columbus at Colomares Castle in Southern Spain

I visited a small rural village called Benalmádena in southern Spain. Here lies Colomares Castle, built to commemorate Columbus's discovery of the Americas. Columbus set sail with three ships to find the New World and eventually discovered the American continent, though he believed until his death that he had reached India. The castle, designed to resemble a ship and blending various architectural styles, is truly stunning. Although not very large, the castle offers breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea, making it feel like discovering a hidden treasure in Spain.
