The skewer izakaya was established in front of the park to provide a convenient gathering place for enthusiasts. I discovered it a few years ago when a friend visited, and it was a chance encounter. The overall flavor of the skewers is rich and slightly sweet, with a mid-to-high price range. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, it has stood firm. Although some favorite menu items have been discontinued and prices have increased, the overall taste is still quite good. Alcoholic beverages cost about 100 to 150 TWD. It's recommended to order bottled beer; a 300cc glass of draft beer costs 140 TWD and is Heineken, which tastes quite average and is priced on the higher side. Skewers are usually sold in sets of two, with each set costing around 100 TWD. The price for grilled seafood is slightly higher. The skewer sauce is sweet, and the grilling is done just right. I do not recommend ordering rice bowls here; I tried the eel rice bowl for 250 TWD. It tasted like ready-made unagi sauce and the portion of rice was small, with the raw egg yolk having a fishy taste.
