Batam 3 Days 2 Nights – A Relaxing Island Escape

#batamguide Batam turned out to be an ideal short getaway from the city. The weather was a bit warm, but the sky stayed clear and blue throughout the trip, making every view picture-perfect. I started my journey from Johor Bahru at Stulang Laut Ferry Terminal. The ferry ride was smooth and took about an hour to reach Batam. Accommodation I stayed at Aston Inn Gideon Batam. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and located right in the heart of the city. It's close to BCS Mall and Grand Batam Mall, and A2 Food Court is just across the street—perfect for late-night snacks. Massage Recommendation I went to Spring Family Massage. It was extremely comfortable and relaxing. I recommend booking in advance as it can get busy, especially in the evenings. Places I Visited 1. Next Level – a modern entertainment spot 2. De Sands (Santorini Café) – coastal cafe with beautiful decor 3. Blue Fire Beach (also called Pink Beach) – peaceful and scenic 4. Tian Yin Maitreya Temple – quiet, spiritual space 5. Masjid Sultan Mahmud Riayat Shah 360 – large, majestic mosque 6. Rainbow Bridge – colorful and great for photos 7. The Kind Bowl – vegetarian restaurant offering healthy meals with an option of “Five Blessings” 8. Fore Coffee – popular cafe with stylish interiors 9. Infinity Beach Club – great place to relax by the sea 10. Cheng Ho Mosque – a mosque influenced by Chinese architecture If you're visiting beachside spots like Infinity Beach Club, Rainbow Bridge, or Blue Fire Beach, it's best to go in the evening or at night. The temperature is cooler, the lighting is better for photos, and the overall vibe is more enjoyable. #batamtrip #batamtravel #indonesiatravel #explorebatam #islandgetaway #weekendtrip #travelindonesia #batamhighlights #3daysinbatam #islandescape#beachlife #thingstodo #staycation

#batamguide f you’re longing for a break from the bustling city, a vacation to scenic might just be what you need. The largest city in the Riau Islands, Batam is perfect for those seeking a short getaway - and it’s only a 45-minute ferry ride away. From exhilarating water sports to scenic beaches, here are some of our top things to do in Batam! Batam is only a 45 to 60-minute ferry trip away. With multiple departure times, as well as embarkation and disembarkation points, you get to choose what suits your needs and wants best. Here are the different ferry options available: By car is An ideal option if you’re travelling in a group of family or friends and are looking to hit several attractions over your trip. If you want to save yourself the hassle of navigating a foreign country, get a Private Car Charter for the day! Your driver will find the shortest route to all the destinations you wish to visit - plus the trip will be comfy. By taxi Taxis are available almost everywhere in Batam, making it a super accessible and convenient form of transportation Do note that there are two types of taxicabs in Batam - “Official” taxis and “Black” taxis. Official taxis operate with a taxi license and have taximeters, while Black taxis are pretty much informal car shares where the price is set and can be negotiated once you’ve discussed the route with your driver. If you’re planning to take a taxi around Batam, we recommend sticking to the official taxis! TransBatam is a public bus system operated and owned by the government, and is probably one of the cheapest ways you can get around the island - each trip will cost you 4,000rp (less than S$0.40)! However, do note that TransBatam does not cover all districts in Batam, and the time between buses can range between 15-30 minutes, Water sports - With its long coastlines and beautiful beaches, Batam is famous for being a watersports destination where you can indulge in all kinds of water activities such as banana boat rides, paragliding, cable-skiing and more. There's also Batam Wakepark where you can learn to wakeboard at Batam's one and only clockwise cable system! Nestled in the Riau Archipelago, is a short 20-minute speedboat ride from Batam's international ferry terminals. The island boasts a stunning one-hectare beachfront resort, offering an all-inclusive escape for visitors. Spend your day enjoying the pristine white-sand beach, splash in the turquoise waters and indulge in a slew of water activities, from going on banana boat rides with your friends to challenging each other on their giant inflatable obstacle course! There are also 1 and 2N staycation packages with all-in hotel stay and ferry transfers included - how convenient! Have a safe trip and enjoy to the most!
