【Switzerland】Basel Zoo: Switzerland's oldest zoo

This zoo is amazing. Not the biggest I've visited, but it's well curated with species diversity, lots of animals to see in a relatively small space, and sometimes you can see how they feed the animals. The zoo is also very cool, with plenty of trees and other things that provide plenty of shade, and there are plenty of benches for visitors to rest and bring takeout for a picnic in the park when the weather is warm. On cold/rainy days in winter, you can relax indoors in the Lion House, Elephant House, Kangaroo House, Rhino House, Aquarium, and Monkey House. Unfortunately, there is very little information available in English, so if you don't know German or French, it will be a bit inconvenient. In addition, it is easily accessible by convenient transportation.
