It is fun to explore here, with many interesting stalls that stands out with it's colourful and unique display of food, snacks, fresh seafood and iberico ham and meat. With its central location, the mercat de la boqueria makes it's easily accessible to tourists as it is just a short walk from town or the metro and bus station. I love how exciting and vibrant the atmosphere is at the market. Items sold here are alittle on the pricier side but it does show you all of barcelona's freshest produce and some items may not be what you can get from home as well. Eat, shop and explore here as you can easily spend half a day here. I highly recommend trying their seafood in a cone, grab some yummy empanadas and some cured meat sandwiches. They are really the most delicious!
