Senior & child-friendly: No strenuous climbing needed. The boardwalks are mostly flat with just 4-5 occasional steps. 2. Water brings vitality: The crystal-clear lake shimmers, mirroring blue skies, white clouds, and lush greenery—a truly soothing sight. 3. Lush tropical vegetation: From low shrubs to towering trees, vibrant bougainvillea to twisting vines, it's a botanical wonderland showcasing nature's ingenious designs. This natural oxygen bar makes you wish it could be relocated up north! 4. Cultural depth: The island intrigues with history. Shenyu Academy houses the Jade Art Museum, displaying dozens of priceless jade masterpieces—each a peerless heritage piece for history buffs to admire. 5. Most importantly: Serenity. Thanks to its niche appeal, even holidays avoid crowds. Here, you can truly slow down—bask on benches, soak in nature's tranquil beauty. At nearly ¥100 for adult tickets including boat fare, it's not the most budget-friendly. But considering its charming scenery, this hidden gem comes highly recommended.
