Review - Mr. Fat Yen Ta Fo @Sao Chingcha

This shop is considered another famous shop in Sao Chingcha area. It is crowded all day long, both for take-out and dine-in. This time we arrived at the shop at around 1 pm, so we didn't have to wait long to get in. We got a seat at the back of the shop. Today we ordered the regular Yen Ta Fo with rice vermicelli. It came with a lot of ingredients. The fish balls were very delicious, bouncy and didn't smell fishy at all. The shrimp balls were also delicious. The squid was crispy, 3 large pieces. The blood was soft and didn't smell at all. Most importantly, there were some ba teng and pork rinds. They went great with the Yen Ta Fo. Lastly, I would like to praise the crispy wontons. The shop fried them until they were very crispy and didn't absorb any oil. The pieces were big and satisfying. Overall, I really liked it. This regular bowl costs only 70 baht. The other bowl is the special Yen Ta Fo with rice vermicelli. You will get a little more rice vermicelli. Each bowl costs 80 baht. Score - 3/5 because the wait for the food was sooooo long. Because the order was lost, I had to follow up 3 times before I could eat. If you go hungry, skip it. There are so many people. You might get angry from hunger.
