Worship Rahu at Khunchan Temple

Wat Khun Chan, an ancient temple that has been on the Thonburi side and Talat Phlu area for over a hundred years, was built in 1827. Wat Khun Chan is a combination of Thai Buddhist and Burmese art. Inside the temple are important parts such as “Luang Pho To Shrine”, “Luang Pho Yok Khao Shrine”, “Kuan Yin Petch Ngam Shrine”, “Reclining Buddha Image” and “Phra Phuttha Chinnarat”. Wat Khun Chan is also famous for its rituals to avert bad luck and worship Phra Rahu. There is a ceremony to chant the Navagraha Rahu that is open to the public every year.
