The accommodation is like a colonial style house and has a small pool behind the house. #The room I stayed in was a Classical Deluxe The price is around 2,000 baht per night, not including breakfast. If anyone wants to eat breakfast, it will be an additional 200 baht per person. There are about 4 sets to choose from. I chose rice porridge. The room is very spacious. It is divided into zones for sleeping, working, and watching movies. There is also a balcony that opens out. . Baan Vajra is located in Soi Silom 19. It was originally an old residence of the Vajra family. The builder was Phrakranisrisamphao or "Daeng Vajraphai", a legal officer during the reign of King Rama VI, who was the son of Luang Upakarn Kosakorn or "Wet Wachirayai" This house was passed down to the next generation, Mr. "Pluk Wachirayai", who is the grandfather of the current owner of Wachirayai. Grandfather Pluk lived in this house with his family until he finally moved out of the house about 50-60 years ago. Mr. Pluk's younger sister, Ms. "Amporn Wachirayai", inherited the house. When Grandma Amporn got old, she moved out to be near her grandchildren. This house was rented out and left empty for a while. Grandma Amporn's grandchildren, who were Grandpa Pluk's sons and were born in this house, returned to renovate the building and rented it out as a Thai restaurant for 15 years until the son and the current owner renovated and transformed the house into a boutique residence as it is today. . Baan Wachirayai has 16 rooms in total, with two main styles: Classical and Colonial. Classical is European style and decorated with marble, and Colonial is Thai style with wood. Every room has its own bathroom. There are various amenities such as beds, air conditioners, refrigerators, TVs, toiletries and free WIFI in every room. #Facilities 1. Swimming pool 2.
