Wang lang market for the locals

within a short walk from pranok pier is Wang lang market, popular with the locals and less touristy. one could take Chao Phraya ferries to the pier from saphan taksin bts. we took a 20baht ferry for 5 stops and they provided excellent service as you can see from the umbrella sheltering hubby and baby. their ferries also have screens showing the piers names along the way. and staff would also alert us to get ready for boarding and alighting, which is very useful for tourists like us. cheap sushi and fresh sashimi could be found in the market, not to mention cheap kids clothes and stationery, bags etc. it would be a better experience if the floor was not wet and the toddler could come down and walk. #urbanexplorer #bucketlistreboot #foodie
