Perfectly situated at the junction of Bangkok’s BTS Asoke and MRT Sukhumvit stations, PALA Pizza Romana & Bistrot is hard to miss—and that’s exactly how we stumbled upon it while searching for a breakfast spot. Though it’s best known for its pizza, the breakfast offerings were a pleasant surprise. We ordered the egg white omelette and a croissant, and both exceeded expectations. The croissant was wonderfully buttery with a delicate, flaky texture—clearly baked with care. The omelette was light yet flavorful, and paired nicely with a cup of well-prepared coffee. The setting felt casual but clean and welcoming, with a cosmopolitan mix of travelers and locals filling the space. However, service was a bit of a letdown. The waitress who served us seemed rushed and impatient when we asked about the menu, which slightly took away from the otherwise enjoyable experience. That said, the food and the unbeatable convenience of the location more than made up for it.
