Golden Mount Temple, also known as Wat Saket Ratchaworamahawihan, is located on Chakkraphatdiphong Road, Ban Bat Subdistrict, Pom Prap Sattru Phai District, Bangkok. This renowned temple is famous for its iconic Golden Mount. Opening Hours: Generally open daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (hours may vary during major festivals). Visitors can ascend to pay homage to the Buddha's relics enshrined at the top of the Golden Mount. From the summit, you can enjoy a stunning 360-degree view of Bangkok, making it one of the city's most beautiful viewpoints. To reach the top, you need to climb 344 steps, but there are resting spots along the way where you can take in the serene atmosphere and admire the golden pagoda's beauty. Inside the temple, there are also significant Buddha images and other sacred objects for worship. In November, the temple hosts the annual Buddha Relic Worship Festival, a major event. The temple has a long history dating back to the Ayutthaya period and was restored during the reign of King Rama I. Getting to the temple is convenient via public buses and the MRT (Sam Yot Station).
