YOLK offers a Hong Kong-style egg tart with a twist: a croissant-based crust made from French-imported flour and AOP butter, resulting in a flaky, buttery base. The custard filling is crafted from high-quality egg yolks sourced from Happy Hen Farm, delivering a smooth and rich flavor. A surprise layer of gooey caramel at the bottom adds an extra dimension to each bite.  The shop operates on a unique schedule, baking fresh batches every 30 minutes starting from 3:00 PM. Each batch consists of 150 tarts, and customers are limited to purchasing up to 12 pieces to ensure availability for all.  Priced at 95 THB per tart or 549 THB for a box of six, these pastries are a bit of a splurge, but many patrons find them worth the occasional indulgence. Note: Given the shop’s popularity, it’s advisable to arrive early to avoid long waits.
