Gorgeous Thai royal palace and temple

The Grand Palace is a royal house built during the reign of King Rama I when he built Bangkok. His Majesty ordered the construction of Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram and established it as a royal temple in the Grand Palace. He also invited the Phra Phuttha Maha Mani Rattana Patimakorn from Wat Arun Ratchawararam to be placed in the Ubosot. Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram or Wat Phra Kaew is royal temple established to place the Emerald Buddha and also a place for the king to perform various royal merit-making ceremonies according to ancient royal traditions.
