Huus Plate: A Cozy Bangkok Cafe with Festive Vibes and Artistic Flair

I’m visiting Huus plate, a cozy cafe in Bangkok that opened last September! They recently teamed up with artist Plaifah Postcard, known for her adorable puppy-themed illustrations, which now brighten up the entrance. The space has also been transformed into a festive Christmas wonderland, featuring a brick archway draped with lush green garlands and red bows for a cheerful, holiday vibe. A towering Christmas tree, decorated with shiny red baubles and full branches, serves as the perfect centerpiece. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Since it was lunchtime, I decided to try their carbonara. It features spaghetti tossed in a rich carbonara sauce with bacon and topped with a generous sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. The egg yolk is served separately, letting you mix it in for an extra creamy, flavorful bite. I appreciated that their carbonara avoids the heavy cream-based sauce, which can sometimes overwhelm the dish. However, the portion was on the smaller side.
