Phra Rup Bridge, Benchamabophit Temple

On the side of the marble chapel of Wat Benchamabophit, there is a small canal with 3 bridges crossing the canal: Phra Rup Bridge, Thuai Bridge, and Ngan Bridge. Phra Rup Bridge has a plaque with a history attached to it that says: This bridge was built with money from selling the Buddha statue carved on a copper-plated gold plate, which His Royal Highness Prince Saraphasat Suphakitch donated to help restore the temple in R.S. 119, so it was named Phra Rup Bridge.
